RAW recap 7-18-05

From the jump, I knew this would be one long night. As I took in a spoonful of Marshmallow Matey's (Im too poor to afford Lucky Charms) I heard Eric Bischoff's theme music play and start yacking. It reminds me of back when Vince Mcmahon would come out and talk about Stone Cold Steve Austin. Well, its no longer 1998, its now 2005; and Eric is bitching about John Cena. *Sigh* Im sorry to say, but John Cena is no Stone Cold. I mean really..the only people who can truly relate to this jerk are white hip hoppers who got off on 8 Mile and now pattern their lives after the Eminem story. Blah blah, "lets find a new way to screw John Cena"

Because of Carlito's actions last week, we see him and Shelton Benjamin once again! Zzzzzzzzzzz. I'm seriously getting sick of this too. Well, since Carlito got counted out on purpose last week, they made the rules to where a 10 count means a title change. And what is it with Shelton's "recent imbalance"? Stop it...nobody is buying it. So after a so-so match, Carlito gives Benjamin a blatant low blow in front of the referee. So next week....hmmmm could we possibly see the return of the "Quebec Rules" title match? Meaning a DQ means a title change. Bleh.

Kurt Angle invitational.
All I have to say is that it would be a shame to see a loser like Striker "win" the gold medals that Kurt Angle fought so hard for. Blah blah, Kurt beats him again. Where is Striker gonna hail from next week? Bump, Oklahoma? Gimme a break.

The Mastercrap Chris Masters comes down and Rosey accepts the challenge. Masters whoops him of course..then claims that no matter how big..... (Big Shows music plays) Big Show comes down..of course Masters makes an excuse to leave the ring..blah blah. I hope someone puts this loser away...and quick. Hmmmm here's a thought..why dont we have the Master Invitational and have Kurt Angle and Chris Masters square off...the winner gets the 20 grand and a shiny olympic medal.

Hulk Hogan comes down to plug his horrible new reality show on VH1. He gives a terribly weak promo and even throws in a couple of "dude"s and "brother"s. Shawn Michaels response was actually quite entertaining and inspired me to put on my chrome chaps, pin my hair in a pony tail, and strike an HBK like pose on the living room floor.

Edge comes down for his match and is attacked by Matt Hard-on as he comes through the crowd. Matt is tied by security, and Edge stomps him and tells him to go back to the indys. A couple of "fucks" and "bullshits" were able to leak through the 7 second time delay. (Yay!)As for the match...mildly entertaining...predictable ending. Edge goes over the top of the cage, while the front door is left wide open..duh!

Next Week..the battle of the bands...Fozzy vs John Cena.. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ please.

The Cena Snitsky match was the most predictable piece of shit Ive seen in a long time. And come on...the normal wrestler would not be getting up and kicking out after taking the beating of his life. I mean honestly, even Stone Cold took a couple of losses every once in awhile..Cena is looking like Superman...or even worse...Bill Goldberg during "the streak"
